In 1952, a mid-season All-Star team was chosen, as well as a post-season team. [post-season team]
The 1st-half All-Star game was sponsored by the Northern League Sportswriters Association and hosted by the team leading the league standings as of midnight, July 4. Members of the Association and managers of league teams voted to determine members of the All-Star team. The league leaders were the Superior Blues; the All-Star game took place July 16 at Municipal Stadium in Superior. [box-score]
Those voted to the All-Star team are listed below.

Biebel and Bowers were both picked at catcher because they tied in the voting. Vandehey and Caffie tied for right field; Vandehey was chosen because he also received a vote at left field and Caffie was awarded a utility role. Pelosi got a second utility role due to receiving a higher vote total than any other non-winning infield candidate.
There were some differences between the players voted to the All-Star team and those actually attending the event. Since some members of the All-Star team were Superior players, replacements for them were chosen by the All-Star manager, Bill Adair, who also named his assistant. In addition, Dick Lloyd did not play (reason unknown - injury, perhaps?). With the additional personnel, the All-Stars at the game were those listed below.
