This directory contains source, binary and documentation for FaceLift, an application that allows font, point size and type style information in MacWrite documents to be reformatted. It allows many transformations to be performed in parallel. It works with MacWrite 2.2 or 4.5 documents. Documents may be reformatted in place or to another document. Reformatting specifications may be saved to a file and reused. The formats contained in a document may be pulled and used as a basis for the specifications - no need to guess. You can use it, for instance, to convert LaserWriter formatted documents for ImageWriter, or vice-versa. The FaceLift document itself, however, is trivially formatted (one font only - Times), so that MacWrite is perfectly adequate for transforming to an ImageWriter font. FaceLift was last compiled with THINK C 6.0.1 and TransSkel 3.11.
